Harveys Lake Rowing Club plans to offer recreational and competitive rowing opportunities to youths and adults of the Northeastern Pennsylvania area. Its main activity will be will be to offer learn to row opportunities to young people (12 and up) to the sport of rowing.

 

Mission Statement
 

• To introduce interested youths and adults to the rewarding sport of rowing.

• To help develop middle and high school youth, through the competitive sport of rowing, into young men and women of character, discipline and integrity.

• To provide a program that fosters personal and team success – defining this success by performing to our maximum potential – as individuals as well as a team. Through this success, we will create opportunities for collegiate scholarships and other post-secondary school achievement.

Since its founding in 2015, Harveys Lake Rowing Club has become a popular staple in Northeastern PA for enjoyable, friendly fun. This entertaining club is not only a place for individuals of all ages to appreciate the sport of rowing, but they can relish the beautiful atmosphere and scenery of Harveys Lake.
